Challenge
Launching Phase 2 of the Career Center on Xfinity, Comcast partnered with Walmart to bring them the first opportunity to feature their Walmart Careers content on the X1 platform. The challenge was to create a campaign that drives viewers to see career opportunities on the Career Center by using their X1 Voice Remote, while at the same time featuring Walmart with a specific X1 Voice Remote keyword to see their custom destination.
Solution
Balancing the educational elements necessary for a new consumer technology with the call to action of an established brand like Walmart isn’t easy – and even harder when limited to a traditional :30 spot. Partnering with the marketing team and graphic designer from the Comcast Ensemble team, we brought the Career Center brand and technology to life as an at-home solution for job seekers, and built the campaign to allow Comcast to prominently feature Walmart and their unique branded content and culture. The result is a clear message that the best new tool for your job search is the Career Center on Xfinity – now featuring careers at Walmart in industries you may not have known even existed!
