The Black Joy Parade in Oakland, CA is a celebration of the black experience past, present, and future. This non-profit honors the Black community's contribution to history and culture with its signature parade and celebration, partnerships, and year-round events. Mnemonic and Effectv had the opportunity to partner with the Black Joy Parade team to create this video and explore the deeper meaning of the Black Joy Movement.
